Commencing tomorrow, April 19th, South Australia will increase the requirement for high points state nomination from 80 to a 85 point requirement. The occupations of Hospital Pharmacist, Retail Pharmacist, Accountant (General), Human Resources Advisor, Marketing Specialist, Sales Representative, University Lecturer and University Tutor have been removed from the list of qualifying roles for the high point and chain migration streams. The removal of these occupations from the qualifying list has immediate effect.
The points increase change is in response to the overall quota being achieved under the existing 80 points requirement. This represents a tightening of the current criteria for immigration to South Australia.
